When he first started, Chris went by the alias Dotcom before settling on Marshmello. He used the SoundCloud platform to distribute remixes and free downloads to his fans. His first original mix, titled "WaVeZ," was published on Soundcloud in March 2015. Following that, he released original combinations such as "Pr0," "BLocKs," and "FinD Me."
